Best of 2008 by Wolf’s Little Store
It doesn’t always have to be the American’s when talking about how we should design our content. Wolfr really created something remarkable of his best of 2008.

No plain & boring lists – instead he created something that is fun to read and a beauty for the eye. I hope that 2009 will bring more initiatives like this.

Two thousand and nine
We are almost there – 2009. Just a few more weeks and we can replace the eight with a nine. In times where change happens, I’m also changing some things in 2009 – starting with what I like & do the most: my work.
No, I’m not switching jobs. Instead, I’ll be focusing more on what I believe in & what I said in my Barcamp Ghent presentation – 2009 will be all about focusing; the things I won’t read, the things I will say no to.
In 2008 I paid too much attention, to practically, everything – with as result: a fucking mish-mash inside my head. The last few weeks I’ve been cleaning up my feed reader, said no to some projects & made some people angry – all set for 2009,
ready for that brand new year with plenty of opportunities.

My Barcamp Gent presentation
My presentation that I gave todat at Barcamp Gent; “What web designers could learn from print designers”.
This presentation is about what we (as web designers) could learn from print designers.
This presentation covers; typography, white space, composition, thinking bigger, visual language and other practical design tips.
You can also download the presentation as a PDF file.
Big thank you to all the people who attended my presentation – see you all on the next barcamp!

Hello world
For those that are not following me on flickr; I’m sick at the the moment. That means;
- Reading books
- Watching movies (a lot)
- starring at the ceiling
- Pulling weird faces when taking medication
Staying home & not doing anything – this ain’t me – it drives me crazy. Luckily enough, I now have plenty of time to work on my Barcamp Gent presentation.
Besides working on my presentation I’ve added some of my “old work“ on Veerle’s 20th Century Web Sites flickr pool – have a look (don’t laugh!).
